Boer Goat Nation Scholarship Information
7 $3000.00 Scholarships to be given away
Each Scholarship Recipient will be given a $3000.00 Sale Credit.
With that sales credit the recipient can use it to purchase a REGISTERED Boer Doe, SHOW CORRECT Goat from ANY live auction across the country. NO Bucks, Commercial Animals, or Wethers. NO Online sales or off the farm purchases.
When Winners have been chosen a Boer Goat Nation Board Member will reach out with specifics and instructions.
Age Division Breakdown
Novice Division (4-7 years of age)
Junior Division (8-12 years of age)
Intermediate Division (13-16 years of age)
Senior Division (17-21 years of age)
Requirements For Applications
· Completely Fill Out Application
Must have video link of yourself 2 minutes or less (Video must be public for committee to view)(YouTube and Vimeo have worked best in the past)
· Show around your barn or facilities where your goat would be staying if you win.
· Tell us your current feed program. (If applicable)
· Include if you have a mentor in the Boer goat industry, if so who and why?
· Include what your goal will be for this scholarship purchase.
*Parents we know that it is hard especially with the younger division but there is no right or wrong answers here. Let them get out there, have fun and show off their personalities. The selection committee wants to see the kids not the parents in the videos.*
Winners will get specific email directions at conclusion of selection process. All members of the Boer Goat Nation board of directors have signed a Non-Disclosure as well as the selection committee members for the privacy of the kids, board members and selection committees. Boer Goat Nation is a registered 501c3 nonprofit operating under the proper federal and state guidelines. Boer Goat Nation Board can review and change rules and requirements they see fit, at any time, for any reason they deem necessary.
